Kasia BRUZDA is a pa ssionate sailor from very early years of her childhood. In 1990 she gained her first sailing license and from that time on she sails whenever she has time.
In 2005 Kasia BRUZDA completed full 5,5 Master level study course at Gdansk University of Technology, Faculty of Ocean Engineering and Ship Technology. She gained Master of Sciences in Engineering Degree in Construction of Ships and Ocean Engineering Objects. She specialized in Small Craft and Yachts Design.
With a Masters Degree she started to work for Jacek Daszkiewicz one of the leading Polish yacht designer. During her work she gained vast experience in design, in prototype building, and mould construction. She had also a chance to co-design Antila 24 (design and styling of the superstructure). Antila 24 is one of the best selling yachts in her class, around the Europe.
In 2007 she contracted her first entirely own design, which was LIBRA 30 for Libra Yachts. It is a sailing cruiser, which premiere was in 2008 during Wind and Water Warsaw Boat Show. Libra 30 also won special award at the Poznan Boatshow in 2009.
Kasia BRUZDA successfully cooperates with various companies including boatyards, shipyards and design offices.

In 2011 Kasia BRUZDA signed her first contract for English to Polish book translation. The contract concerns Chris Tibbs’ “Weather Handbook – Northern Hemisphere” is an excellent meteorological book for sailors first published by RYA Publishing. Polish edition will be released by Oficyna Wydawnicza Alma-Press.
